AIASA & INTAN Awards for Excellence 2016
The Australian Indonesian Association of South Australia (AIASA) in partnership with the Indonesian Teachers' Association of South Australia (INTAN) seek to acknowledge and reward high achieving students of Bahasa Indonesia. Teachers are invited to nominate students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the study of Bahasa Indonesia.
Four major prizes of $100 will be awarded in the categories of Primary School (R-6), Middle School (7-10), Senior School (11-12), and Tertiary. In addition, a number of commendation prizes will also be awarded. Students will also be presented with a certificate to add to their personal portfolio.
The awards will be judged by experienced language educators who are also members of AIASA and INTAN. The judging criteria includes but is not limited to: academic achievement; relevant community engagement and/or volunteering; improvement in the 2016 school year; and positive contribution to Indonesian studies.
